Common questions

How do I join?+
You're automatically enrolled after your first order. You can also join early by entering your email on this page — you'll get 100 bonus points immediately.
When are points credited?+
Purchase points are added when your Stripe payment completes — usually within minutes of your order. Bonus events (birthday, referral) are applied automatically by our system.
Can I use points on any order?+
Yes — any order on TapDrop. Toggle "Apply Tap Insider points" at checkout and choose how many to apply. Minimum redemption is 100 pts ($1 off). Cap is 25% of your order subtotal.
How do tiers work?+
Tiers are based on your lifetime points — not current balance. So redeeming points never drops your tier. Once you hit Brewmaster (1,000 lifetime pts) or Cellar Master (5,000), you stay there.
Do points expire?+
Yes — points expire after 12 months of inactivity (no orders). We'll send you a nudge at 11 months so you have time to place an order and reset the clock. Any purchase resets expiry.
What's the birthday bonus?+
Add your birthday in your Insider dashboard. We'll send you 200 bonus points + a $25 credit 7 days before your birthday — once per year. The credit is good for 30 days.
How does the referral bonus work?+
Share your referral link (from your Insider dashboard). When a friend places their first order, you earn 500 points — on top of the existing referral credit. Referral bonuses stack with purchase points.
