Planner FAQ
How do I pitch TapDrop to a couple who's never heard of it?
Lead with the experience angle: "Instead of a generic open bar, you'll have a real tap room station with craft beers curated for your guest list." Most couples are immediately curious. Use this kit as a leave-behind after your intro conversation.
How much lead time does TapDrop need?
Minimum 3 weeks for standard packages. Peak season (May–October) books 6–8 weeks out. For 2027 bookings, start the conversation in Q4 2026 to lock in pricing and availability.
Do you work directly with venues? Do I need to facilitate?
TapDrop coordinates directly with the venue's F&B manager and event coordinator. You don't need to be in the middle. We handle venue walk-throughs, access windows, and COI submissions.
What if the couple postpones or cancels?
Full deposit refund for cancellations 14+ days before the event. Postponements with 14+ days notice get the deposit credited to the new date at no charge. Within 14 days, the deposit is non-refundable.
Can TapDrop handle multi-day events (rehearsal dinner + reception)?
Yes — multi-day packages are available. Each day is quoted separately. Planners managing multiple events can request consolidated invoicing with net 30.
What about non-drinkers and dietary restrictions?
TapDrop specializes in craft beer. For non-alcoholic options, we can include NA craft beers (e.g., Athletic Brewing) on request. For wine/spirits, pair us with your venue's existing bar service.
What does the planner portal include?
